The short version: if you join the founding list, we store your email address so we can tell you when Classhouse opens. We don't sell it, share it, or use it for anything else. You can leave at any time, and we'll delete it.
Classhouse is a project of Beyond Borders English, based in Tbilisi, Georgia. For any question about your data, write to hello@classhouse.io.
Only what you type into the signup box, which is your email address. We also record a short code identifying which link brought you here, so we know where people are finding us. Not the page you came from, just the code.
We don't ask for your name, your students' details, or anything about your teaching.
Separately, the services below keep the ordinary technical records any website and mailing list produce: your IP address, the time you signed up, and whether an email reached you. That's used to run the service and keep it secure, never to build a profile of you or to advertise at you.
To email you when Classhouse opens in January 2027, and at most one short update before then. That's the entire purpose.
We rely on your consent, given when you submitted the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
Kit is based in the United States, so your email address is stored there.
Nobody else. We don't sell, rent or trade your address, and we don't pass it to advertisers.
This site sets no cookies and carries no advertising trackers. Nothing follows you around after you leave, and that's why you won't see a cookie banner here.
We do count visits, using Cloudflare's privacy-focused analytics. It records that a page was viewed and roughly where in the world from, without cookies and without following you to any other website. We use it to see whether anyone is finding us, nothing more.
Giving us your email is entirely optional. If you'd rather not, you simply won't get the launch announcement.
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and in any case no longer than 31 March 2027 unless by then you've chosen to keep hearing from us.
One honest detail: when you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal record that you did, purely so our system never emails you again. It isn't used for anything else.
You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, hand it to you in a portable form, restrict what we do with it, or object to us holding it at all. You can unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any email we send, which stops the emails straight away.
You gave us your address by consent, and you can withdraw that at any time without giving a reason.
To make any of these requests, email hello@classhouse.io. We'll deal with it within one month.
If you're in the UK or the EU and you think we've handled your data badly, you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we'll say so on this page and update the date at the top.
